Jeremy Saxon

I can't remember how many Jeremy Saxon's blues concerts I've heard in the years I know Jeremy, but it must be a hundred. Still, I was never bored. I loved to listen to his CD's when he was back in US and I'm even happier he's back in Prague again and gigging.

Jeremy has written over 2000 songs and plays guitars like no one else, occassionally peppering his show with a mandolin or banjo. While the word "blues" might have its origins in the meaning "sad", Jeremy's songs are anything but blue. They are fun and many of them make me laugh although I know them by heart and heard them thousand times.

But songwriting requires skills similar to writing literature and Jeremy has also written novels and really funny short stories. I hope we can talk him into writing some more and publishing them. For now, we'll have to be happy with his music - www.jeremysaxon.com
