MagnaGarden Gallery [2018]

Collaboration with Glassworks [2013 > Ongoing]

Collaboration with prominent Czech glassmaking companies. Initially LASVIT, currently BOMMA, Rückl and smaller studios (translations, copywriting, branding).

Competition ReSite: Bridging Prague [2012]

Collaboration on an entry to an urbanistic competition. The event aimed to gather new ideas for revitalizing Prague’s river banks. More about our Urbanistic Plan here.

Dolphin-Assisted Therapy [2011 > Ongoing]

The first project providing dolphin-assisted therapy for Czech and Slovak clients (in Antalya, Turkey). I helped launch the service and continue with organizational support. More about Dolphin-Assisted Therapy.

Book: Testimony of the Soul [2010]

My scanography art depicting natural materials inspired Czech poet Jan Maruna to publish a short poetry collection capturing the essence of individual flowers. More about Testimony of the Soul.

On-Site Theater [2010]

An on-site theater performance by the DoMa / At HoMe group which took place in Hunger Gallery and my studio. The actors studied our life and activities and built a performance about it. See more here DoMa / At HoMe Theater Performance.

Creativity Courses [2010 – 2013]

After 14 years of helping people unblock their creativity individually, I joined forces with facilitator Jaroslava Vatay and launched a series of intensive courses in Czech and English. Learn more about The Artist’s Way.

Gallery Hunger [2010-2011]

Co-founding of a pop-up gallery / art studio space / experimental kitchen. Combining food and art, the project attracted people who normally don’t go to galleries by serving gourmet food and teaching cooking.

Translation of an Encyclopedia [2010]

A significant translation project directly for His Highness Prince Hans Adam II of Liechtenstein. An extensive encyclopedia covering the history of the Liechtenstein family in Moravia.

Health Milestone [2007]

After more than a decade of struggle, I received the correct diagnosis explaining my chronic fatigue syndrome. It took another 2 years of detox and self-care to recover. This experience taught me a lot about energy, healing, and healthy lifestyle habits.

Wedding [2004 > Ongoing]

Alchemy Readings & Performance Series [2002-2018]

A long-term collaboration with the amazing Ken Nash and other organizers. A series of over a hundred cultural evenings in English, featuring published authors and creators from abroad, followed by an open-mic for Prague-based creators. More about Alchemy Readings.

Animal-Assisted Therapy [2000 > Ongoing]

Organizing, teaching, publishing and promoting animal-assisted therapies, with primary focus on dogs. I work for the therapy division of Helping Paws, served as a vice-president of the Czech Dog-Assisted Therapy Association (2004-2005), co-founded Anitera (2008-2011).

Helping Paws (Pomocné tlapky) [1999 > Ongoing]

Co-founding of the first Czech non-profit that trains assistance dogs for the health-impaired and provides dog-assisted therapy. We since delivered over 400 highly trained dogs. More about Helping Paws here.

Travel: US Tour [1999]

A three-month car tour of the United States, covering 27,000 miles, 33 states, and 16 National Parks. I generally love to travel, but this was probably the trip of a lifetime and a personal milestone.

Web Design Services [1999 > Ongoing]

I designed over 30 websites for small businesses, creators and non-profits. Since 2009, I limited my services to consulting and web content creation, and only design sites for collaborations or my own projects, including this one. See more about Design.

Scanography Art [1997 > Ongoing]

A growing catalog of digital art prints capturing flowers, leaves, feathers and other natural materials in extreme detail. I invented my own technique of high-resolution scanning. The first exhibition took place in 1997 in Radost FX. Take a look at my Scanography Art.

Creative Writing [1996 > Ongoing]

If I had to choose one label for me, it would be a writer. I wrote since childhood and it has become a big part of my work. My first story was published in English by the Optimism Magazine in 1996. More about Writing.

The Artist’s Way [1996]

My creativity began flourishing once I discovered The Artist’s Way, a 3-month self-guided course by Julia Cameron. I also began researching creativity as a subject, which later led to developing my own methodologies. Learn more about the The Artist’s Way.

Beefstew Poetry Readings [1995 – 2000]

Beefstew was a cultural icon among young ex-pat creatives in Prague of the 1990s. The weekly English-language open-mic featured poets, writers, actors and musicians, forming a supportive international community. More about Beefstew Readings.

Travel: Motorcycling Years [1995 – 2004]

Among my most formative experiences were extensive travels around the Czech Republic and most of Europe on the back seat of a motorcycle. My husband loves riding, I love looking at the world from this unique perspective.

Introduction to Personal Development [1994-1999]

While other teenagers partied, I steeped myself in personal development: books, lectures, workshops, Sanskrit lessons, yoga, alternative medicine. By the time I was 20, my current worldview was well formed. From then on, I only tested it. Practice. Practice. Practice.
